Filmed in Wrightsville Beach, North Carolina and starring Wilmington, NC resident Linda Lavin, a new trailer for the independent comedy drama A Short History of Decay has been released online.

Described as a comedy about a man who takes on the role of caregiver for his parents, A Short History of Decay stars Tony nominee Linda Lavin (Wanderlust, Alice), who lives in Wilmington, NC, as a woman experiencing the early onset of Alzheimer’s.
Written and directed by Michael Maren, the film also stars Emmanuelle Chriqui (You Don’t Mess with the Zohan, Wrong Turn, Entourage), Bryan Greenberg (Friends with Benefits, Bride Wars), and Kathleen Rose Perkins (The Island).
Greenberg previously worked in North Carolina as a regular on the CW television series One Tree Hill.
